Schweinfurt:

One of the most "Dynamic Cities in Germany"

Schweinfurt with its 54.000 inhabitants and its catchment area of 300.000 people is located in “Unterfranken”.  Many multinational companies like “The Schaeffler Group” with its subsidiary “FAG”, “The ZF-Group” with its subsidiary “ZF-Sachs” as well as “Bosch Rexroth”, “SKF”, and “Fresenius Medical Care” have always dominated the image/economy of Schweinfurt over the last decades. In addition to the industry the service sector has also become an equally important pillar of the commercial success of Schweinfurt. The big city mall, the museums and the gallery of art, as well as the conference centre are the visitor magnets of the city and can be found in the central business district.  The 58m² media wall is based in the centre of this area. It is located next to the central bus station right in the city centre directly at the impressively refurbished Jägersbrunnen. Many modern shops and multicultural restaurants around create a pleasant atmosphere and are probably the reason why this part of town is the most frequented/visited part of the whole city.
